Why SBS on Vision Pro?

Two ways to see 3D

visionOS plays SBS in any viewer app, and shows true spatial photos in the Photos app. SBS works with stills you already have.

Browser-native conversion

Safari on visionOS runs WebGPU — the whole conversion happens on the headset.

SBS everywhere else too

The same file plays on Quest, Pico and 3D TVs — one conversion covers all your devices.

How to view on Vision Pro

Convert at DepthSnap in Safari — runs locally on the device.
Save the SBS image to Files (AirDrop, iCloud Drive or download directly in Safari).
Open it in Files or any viewer, enter full screen, and widen the window for a personal theater effect.
💡 Spatial photos: for the Photos app depth-and-disparity look, MV-HEVC is required — SBS is the universal fallback that works today, everywhere.

Which player, and what to switch

Our mp4 carries a stereo (side-by-side) tag and a 1:1 pixel aspect, and the file name contains SBS_3D. Players that read the tag switch on their own; for the rest, one selection does it. Firmware versions differ — if yours behaves differently, tell us and we will add it here.
